About the project

Goals: Establish a strong tone of voice within Manychat's educational content, and educate users on how to use Manychat product more effectively within days of signing up.

The ultimate aim was to drive long-term customer retention by teaching people how to build better social media marketing operations using Manychat, and to move those customers from Free tier to the Paid tier.

What we delivered

Before: Disjoined emails written by a variety of people, with varying quality. No unified narrative, no distinct visual style. Product signup and subsequent usage dropoff happened rapidly due to poor onboarding.

After: Completely new two-month onboarding sequence, with on-brand, engaging copy and vibrant visual identity. Improved paid tier conversions and email engagement rates far higher than the industry average.
